Lynn M. Jones is a beloved local artist, known for her hand-carved linoleum block prints, printed by hand on vintage printing presses. As her business, Just My Type Letterpress, continued to grow, she needed to launch a second brand, Lynn-oleum, to establish her artwork from the retail storefront she had started in Old Town Eureka.

The Results
We worked closely with Lynn to create marketing assets to complement the official launch of her artist brand Lynn-oleum. It was important to get the messaging right, to convey that her original business name and retail store, Just My Type Letterpress were remaining. We coordinated a photoshoot in Lynn’s workshop and retail space to get fresh branded photos highlighting Lynn’s crafts(wo)manship as a linoleum block printer and the down-to-earth vibe she had curated in her paperie store. A large portion of this project included updating Lynn’s two websites with updated messaging and a refreshed and cohesive brand aesthetic, getting them ready for a January 1st launch. We also created some brand videos and a press release to help her promote her exciting growth.
