Redwood Region RISE Delivers a Clear Roadmap for Economic Growth and Resilience

The Client

Redwood Region RISE (RRRISE) is a regional initiative focused on developing a sustainable and equitable economy for Northern California, including Humboldt, Mendocino, Lake, and Del Norte counties, as well as Tribal Lands. As one of the 13 Jobs First Collaboratives under California's $600 million Regional Investment Initiative, RRRISE is tasked with creating a Regional Roadmap that promotes high-quality jobs and climate resilience, tailored to the needs of rural communities.

To make the findings from their Regional Plan Part 1 accessible and impactful, RRRISE partnered with Illuminated Marketing to create a suite of digital and print materials that would engage diverse stakeholders, including community members, policymakers, and funders.

How Illuminated Marketing Helped

Key Messaging Document
Slide Decks: Created 24 slide decks tailored to different audiences, including policymakers, funders, and advocates.
Summary Booklet & 1-Pagers: Designed a summary booklet and individual 1-pagers for each chapter of the Regional Plan Part 1.
Videos: Produced a series of short, engaging videos explaining different aspects of the Regional Plan, combining animations and graphics to make the information accessible for various audiences.

The Results

Illuminated Marketing’s contributions helped RRRISE present the findings from their 200-page technical report in an engaging, clear, and accessible way. The use of videos, social media posts, and slide decks made it easier for diverse audiences—from grassroots advocates to policymakers—to understand and act on the key data.
